I'm looking into getting a Fantasy Football Leagure for the forum and forum friends. I've done free ones in the past that were decent but have since grown annoying.

I'm looking at getting the CBS Sportsline League (http://www.sportsline.com/fantasy) which allows for customization beyond all expectations. Its pretty darn neat. Its also $100.00. I am even thinking about maybe finding a way to afford this on my own. But I need to know... would anyone play?

Id' be interested. And I think yahoo groups might let you do it for free, but I'm not too sure. I've never done a fantasy football league through yahoo, but I'm in the baseball one right now and it's pretty good.

I played a yahoo one that was ok, but also kind of annoying. If there were enough people that would allow us to get past advertising and allow us to modify the rules to our liking, thats the way I"d like to go. I suspect that a yahoo one would not be out of the question if I failed to generate anything better.

If I take the $10 I will pay for a fantasy football team and divide that into the number of hours I will waste researching my team, I see some cheap entertainment in my future.

If I can find 2 more people willing to chip in $10 bucks I'll get the highly customizable fantasy football service I'm eyeing. Maybe I'll pay for the difference with my next web hosting deal I make.

The service I'm looking for- CBS Sportsline (commissioner package) is terrific and worth it. I'm going to send out an email this upcoming Sunday evening to see what support can be generated. I'm interested not only in knowing who will pay, but who will play. It looks like we have 5 that fit both of those categories. I have to believe we can find another 5 before committing.

I'm not a huge football fan. But if you do the same thing for fantasy hockey then i'm game :D

Also, if you end up not having enough people who are paying, i can probably chip in $5

Alright. I set it up. I have a web deal going down on Wednesday that will cover expenses temporarily while money starts coming in.

I'm surprised to find a dumb thing about it- It won't let me just create 'empty' slots. I have to actually have the players in hand. So, Please PM me - or just post it here, whatever you want- the email that you want me to send the league invitation to. I think it would be so much easier if I could just put a link for people to join. I'm going to look again. In the meantime, hit me with your email addresses so I can send you invitations.

And I'm going to start a thread where we can debate the settings. :)

NOTE TO ALL: I'm NOT going to charge you to be in this league. If you can help, GREAT. If not, I have room for as many people as want to. Invite your friends, I don't care, bring them all. Sasq, your friends you mentioned count too.
