Zeitgeist (Spirit-Of-The-Times)
« on: July 03, 2007, 06:24:51 AM »

I came across this excellent web-movie.
The first part is of particular interest to Atheists as it documents in great detail how the christian myth was plagiarized from older religions and combined with astrology as well as politics.

I am not in a position to verify all the claims but there is a substantial bibliography.
Perhaps someone more knowledgeable about this may wish to comment.

At the very least it is a fascinating story.

I'll take a look some time, Dicoll.  I'd be careful with the whole 'Christianity borrowed' bit.  Christians have been responding to that claim for at least a century.  I would hope that atheists- allegedly masters of crafting arguments resting on solid evidence- would consider carefully the evidential merits of such claims.
