I don't think I believe you. I think rather that you don't like getting schooled every sentence you write.

But let's assume you're being sincere for a moment (something you've never extended to me). If you do think it is futile but you still think religion is outrageously dangerous then you must have in mind some other approach. What are you doing now? Pushing to have all those dangerous fundies thrown into prison?

I don't suppose you'll allow that religions have some good characteristics? Or, if they do, do they cease to become 'religious' characteristics and now become non-religious characteristics?
Am I not right in pointing out that you entertain simple tautologies: if it is something you don't like, it is de facto religious. If it is something you do like, then its secular. Right? So the atheistic communists that slaughtered hundreds of millions not to long ago were not acting on their 'non-belief' at all, but rather were religious. And if Christians ushered in democracy and the very secularism and church/state distinction you like, then that was actually atheism, right?
Or you could do as I do and not blame either religion or non-religion but instead blame Man.
